Thoughts On Peace: What Does Peace Mean To You?
Pace E Girasole by Antonia Tosini

Gandhi once said, "There's no way to peace. Peace is the way." That I completely agree with. Peace should be the main root to be planted in everyone s life. Peace is the result of the solution of inner conflicts, on a global scale. Global peace in fact cannot be achieved without the efforts of all human beings, determined to direct their lives toward more than personal goals.
The promotion of human rights is also at the basis of the achievement of peace; the awareness of the potential and value of life is the first thing to get, in order to respect the other ones .
Individuals all over the world should take responsability for their lives and contribute to building a world where people of different cultures and faiths can live in peace. Human spirit should be tranformed and trained to a culture of non-violence. The inner change, the human revolution is the key to stimulate contributive action and compassion of people within their communities, workplaces and family. That's the way we can build peace, and the way is long maybe, but the unity of intentions and spirit and the common respect of everyone's life, non matter about any sort of difference, may be the big basic step to universal harmony.

Thoughts on Peace by Samantha Lockwood
Through Self Realization the world can become a better place. Awareness of our own personal individual weakness is essential, because only then may we grow to love ourselves and become stronger. The ancient philosophy of yoga is what I have grown up with my whole life. That philosophy and my teachers Bikram and Rajashree Choudhury have taught me that we must learn patience, determination, faith, concentration and will power in order to build self confidence, self love and self awareness. The practice of Bikram Hatha Yoga has encouraged all of these traits in me, in my students and my yoga friends. It teaches that for world peace we must first be able to see our own truth in order to appreciate and love others. Blind cannot lead the blind. To truly make this world a better place for us all to not only get along, but truly live out our purpose on Earth to love one another, we must first find our own inner peace, one that no one else can steal no matter what. Perhaps it seems easier said than done, but this is the only way for humanity to achieve success
We beg for the peace by Antonia Tosini
The peace it is in the calm serenity of the spirit and the conscience. In the absence of fights and conflicts armed between it peoples and nations. In the several expressions, enclosed in thousand "Colors ". It is that which generates the fraternity, the guarantee of the human rights. The love in the relationships in the dialogue and the collaboration of all. It is the tolerance, the unit, the conscience and the respect of the Other Is the universal value for the good of the entire society .
The Peace: it is to devise and to conceive the thoughts of our Spirit. It is an enormous concept that demands a great effort for being in a position to improving and diffusing this idea. It is a mission that has become more and more un' urgency and it lacks terribly to our World! It lacks to our sons. It lacks to our heart! Today more than ever, for the young people tomorrow. We beg for the peace!
What does peace mean? by Sara Westbrook
What does peace mean? To end all wars. To have all violent acts irradicated. To have all the people in the world holding hands singing about love and respect.
I believe that peace must first start within each of us. To love and accept yourself compared to no one else is the beginning of ending the greatest war of all ...the war we create within ourselves. When we find our peace it overflows to our families, our friends, our community, our country and ultimately the world.
"Love Crusade...starts within us."
